Batman Live World Arena Tour

Those lucky Brits will be the first to see Batman Live, a live action arena show:

Based on an original story being created exclusively for the show, Batman Live is a theatrical extravaganza of thrilling stunts, acrobatic acts and illusions. Never before has Gotham City, Wayne Manor, the Batcave and Arkham Asylum been brought to life on stage in a more visually exciting way. Join Batman and Robin as they battle their nemesis The Joker and other super-villains such as The Riddler, Catwoman, The Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, set on destroying Gotham City.

Totally authentic, bold and awe-inspiring, Batman Live will be a completely new way to experience the world of Batman. This is one adventure you do not want to miss!

If this makes it to Vegas, I am absolutely going!

Young Justice Preview on MTV.com

The new animated Young Justice series premieres on Cartoon Network on November 26 at 7 PM Eastern with a one hour episode. Check out the six minute preview at MTV’s Splash Page, where you can see the classic teams of Batman and Robin, Green Arrow and Speedy, and Flash and Kid Flash in action. The preview looks more like the various Bruce Tim and Paul Dini DC animated series than Teen Titans, but I’m just happy to see DC super teams on the screen again.

Unfortunately, it looks like my home state of Iowa is getting snubbed. I’m sure the guys at Mayhem in Ames or Daydreams in Iowa City would be thrilled to be part of it. And yet, they’re gonna be at Space Cat here in San Jose, which is a fairly ghetto cross between a comic shop and a pawn shop. For more info on the House of Ideas’ 70th Anniversary, head over to the official site.

There Will Be an Iron Man 3

Iron Man 2

While we’re all waiting for Iron Man 2, director Jon Favreau is already talking Iron Man 3 with Digital Spy.

He said: “There’s an Iron Man 3. Here’s how I know. When they make the option deals, they include Iron Man 3. So I know they’re planning on 3. Whether that would be before or after Avengers, they’ve announced that Avengers is next but they pushed back The Avengers once, which I thought was encouraging.”

Shouldn’t come as a surprise, since almost every super hero franchise that makes it to the first sequel goes on to see a third. Let’s just hope that quality goes the distance, unlike X-Men.
